November 14, 2013 — Toufayan Bakeries, one of the largest family-run bakeries in the U.S., has been selected by Mediterranean restaurant Chickpea to provide gluten free options at all 9 of its locations in the New York City area. All the sandwiches on Chickpea’s extensive gluten free menu, including Falafel, Turkey Lamb Kebab and Chicken Shawarma are available on Toufayan’s delicious gluten free wraps. The wraps, the first offering in Toufayan’s growing gluten free line, hit the market last year and were immediately lauded by the gluten free community for their superior taste and texture.

In September of this year, Toufayan expanded their line of gluten free wraps to include Spinach, Garden Vegetable and Savory Tomato varieties in addition to the Classic, which has been available since 2012.
