Christmas Tortilla Cookies
Get ready to savor the season – roll, cut, and decorate your way to delicious holiday cheer!
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Use cookie cutters to cut out your favorite shapes out of the wraps. Use a butter knife to cut through the cutter to loosen the wrap if needed.
Butter or spray the shapes with oil and place them on your baking sheet. Cover with a second piece of parchment paper and flatten with a second baking sheet on top. This will allow the “cookie” to bake flat.
Bake for 5-7 minutes, just until barely browned. Remove and allow to cool on a cooling rack.
Repeat process with the rest of the cut-outs.
Once cooled, you can brush on a little bit of egg white and decorate with sugars. Place back in the oven for 2 minutes to harden the egg white. Remove and decorate with frosting, if desired.
