Hi are your gluten free wraps 10 inch or 12 inch? I own a restaurant and I’m searching for a 12 inch gluten free wrap.
Hello Chris,
What a great idea! Currently we don’t offer 12″ food service Gluten Free Wraps, though it’s such a good idea we’ll take it to the bakers right away – look out for them in the future. Meanwhile, we do offer traditional wraps in a Food Service size.
Thanks for your interest!
Have you found a good gluten-free 12 inch tortilla? I am also on the hunt for one but haven’t found anything yet.
Another vote for a 12” gluten free food service wrap
Many of us with autoimmune digestive issues also have immune reactions to other common allergens. Would love it if you could make a version without soy protein! There are plenty of other flours that make good substitutes. Please!
Hello Shaina and thank you so much for your suggestion.
We’ll tell our bakers to to look into variations without soy protein.
Thanks again.
I have always avoided modified food starch in my gluten free diet. What is your modified food starch made from that it can be considered gluten free
Hello Charlotte,
We are sensitive to the needs of celiac sufferers as well as the needs of the families that rely on our breads. All of our Gluten Free Wraps are made with a modified food starch that contains only corn starch and tapioca starch.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, or feel free to contact us directly at info@toufayan.com.
I am so disappointed I love your gluten free wraps and used to be able to get them at my local supermarkets. Now I haven’t been able to find them anywhere. It said on your website I could get them at my local Walmart. No one in my area seems to have them. Am I able to order them online?
Thanks for your endorsement, Lisa
We’re sorry you can’t find them in your area. Please ask your store manager to add your favorite varieties of Toufayan Gluten Free Wraps. You can download a copy of our
Gluten Free Product request form to make it easier for your store manager to order our gluten free products.
Be sure to let us know if you still can’t find Gluten-Free Wraps in your area. Thanks again!
I have a package (opened, but sealed) of gluten free wraps. It expired 2 months ago, but no mold. Are they safe to eat?
Hello Paula,
I know, tempting, right? They might be okay, but my official answer is to throw them away.
Better safe than sorry ‘:-(
(Gluten Free Wraps should be coded with a 30 day shelf life)
What is the best way to store your Gluten Free Original Wraps?
Hello Beth,
At home we keep them in the bread basket. Somewhere dry, away from heat sources (avoid putting them on top of the fridge, near an oven or toaster or in direct sunlight).
We have found that they do freeze well, just ensure that they are well sealed before placing them in the freezer. A vacuum sealer works well or plastic freezer bags with the air carefully removed. You will also find that it is better to chill them in the refrigerator for at least twenty minutes before placing them in the freezer, to reduce condensation. When you defrost them, a slow defrost overnight in the refrigerator works well too!
For short term storage, we use their own resealable bag in the breadbox (they usually get eaten before long anyway).
I love pita bread but be better if non GMO present in product. So i will be seeking your wonderful idea of non GMO.
We are striving to achieve our delicious recipes using only non-GMO ingredients. Some of our farms and recipes already comply with all non-gmo project requirements, but for official recognition, all aspects of our processes must be approved – which may take a little while. Check our non-gmo tag for updates.
so if the store where these were purchased did not put a sell-by date on them how is a customer to know how long these wraps are good for because on the package that I have there is absolutely no indication. thank you
M,
Our Gluten Free Wraps are meant to be marked with a 30 day shelf life, after defrost. You can also tell that they are nearing the end of their shelf life by their brittleness. Fold one in half and press down on the seam, if the whole side breaks off, they are too brittle and probably too old. However, since this is a Gluten-Free product, some brittleness is to be expected. If the wraps are a little stiff for your liking, place them on a microwave safe plate with a layer of slightly moist paper towel between each one and microwave on high for about 30 seconds. As they cool, they will be more flexible and softer.
Sorry about your experience. Let us know what store you purchased these in, perhaps we can mention it to someone up the chain.
I made chicken/avocado/spinach artichoke/Munster cheese quesadillas for dinner last night using the spinach flavor of the gluten free wraps and they were AMAZING! I also enjoy the original flavor as well for tacos, tortilla wraps etc. Hoping to be able to find the other two flavors in my local area (Gretna/Omaha NE) soon!
Wow, that sounds delicious! Send us the recipe and maybe a photo and we’ll feature it on our website!
Sorry that some of our Gluten Free products aren’t available in your area. You can ask your grocer to add them to their inventory. To help them along, print this Gluten Free Product request form form and bring it to your store’s manager.
If you have gluten free pita chips, why not gluten free pita breads?
Hello,
We are working on it! You are not alone in looking forward to this, but without gluten, the pita bread can be way to hard. Our bakers are looking for away to bring you the great taste and texture of grandpa’s recipes, but with a Gluten Free option as well. Please be patient as we work it out!
Hello! My son is gluten free and loves your wraps. He uses them a lot for quesadillas. Unfortunately, they appear to be getting quite a bit smaller lately, because they no longer fit in our quesadilla maker. What is the reason for this? I may have to switch to another brand.
Hello Lisa and thank you for your endorsement!
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We haven’t been making the wraps any smaller. Can you tell us which grocer? If you saved the package, we can check the batch.
I’ve also been having a lot of trouble with them getting smaller. The last bag I got was ridiculous. I have the bag and picture. Will send.
Hello,
We are a little shocked to hear that! Please do send the pictures, info@toufayan.com, and let us know where you got them and we’ll look into it right away.
Thanks for your help.
I have purchased your Gluten Free wraps before but now seem to be unable to locate them here in central Ontario. I did send an e-mail earlier this week but have heard nothing as yet.
Hi Andy,
Sorry no one got back to you. Did you send an email to info@toufayan.com? Our Gluten-Free Wraps are not available throughout Canada yet. We are working with Canadian Bakers to bring our products to you. Meanwhile, you can facilitate the process by asking your grocer to carry our Gluten-Free Products. Here is a form you can give them to make it easier.
Another Canadian customer has suggested that you try MeyersGlutenFree.com. If you do, please let us know about the reliability and satisfaction of that website.
We look forward to hearing about the outcome of your search!
I just found these wraps at a Metro in Ottawa – so good! Hopefully they will keep the supply coming!
I used to think butter was the answer to everything until today. I forgot to buy butter at the store and didn’t want to go back and buy some. Sooooo, I warmed up one of your gluten free (original) wraps in the microwave and had it plain with my chili. I just want to thank you for making these. They are so good. I had them last week as my “sandwich” of avocado, tomato, spinach and cucumber. I thought those were the best until today. Thank you very very much. (I buy them in Vermont, in case you need to know that for marketing purposes.)
I wonder what I’ll make next week?!
mmmm Gluten Free Chili wraps… lemme just add that to my diet-safe list…
Those sound great, Jeannette. Thanks for sharing! For me, I love to take left over rice and beans or chicken and rice and make a nice big burrito. Or better still, freshly cooked blackbeans with a little fresh cilantro, some diced raw onions, salt and pepper and some minced poblano peppers all rolled up in a Spinach gluten-free Wrap. Mmmm.
If you post your recipe here, I’ll post mine!

Please never stop making them bcuz gluten free lifestyle is really getting easier save for a few items and the tortillas are one of them, until now!!!
I wanted to try your wraps but they don’t say if they’re non gmo or not
Hello Leo
Our bakers and growers are working hard to create Non-GMO Gluten-Free wraps for your and your family. However, certification and other steps can sometimes take a long time, so we aren’t quite there yet. Please check back again soon!
I have to start this off by saying that I have NEVER written a review for any product or service but felt compelled to write a review or the Gluten Free wraps. I was recently advised by my Dr. to start a FODMAPs diet which means that I am gluten free, lactose free, soy free, bean free, onion and garlic free along with a whole bunch of other restrictions. I went on vacation in Florida in December after only being on my new diet for less than two months and discovered your gluten free wraps at Publix. Every day, I packed a wrap sandwich in the cooler to take to the beach with me. Each and every day, the wraps held up to being in a cooler with waters and other snacks but most importantly I felt like I was eating “normal” food because it didn’t taste like it was gluten free! I went back to MN and went looking for the wraps but could only find gluten free tortillas that I have only had crumble when I tried to wrap or fold them. I was so excited that I was able to locate one store in MN that carried the Toufayan Gluten Free wraps and it was only 20 minutes away. I was so excited that today I was able to enjoy a wrap sandwich with my Toufayan sandwich wraps.
Hi. Thank you for sharing your review about your wrap experience. I just bought these for my boyfriend because he is having stomach problems and they seem to act up when he eats wheat. I have been making pinwheels out of just meat but saw the gluten free wraps at the grocery store, Publix (I live in S.Fla), tonight and bought them. I have to say I am very disappointed. I am either doing something wrong in the prep or have a defective package of wraps. I make wraps quite often out of tortillas and they don’t fall apart. I slightly lifted one side of the wrap to wrap up the meat and it broke in half. My boyfriend then proceeded to try and now we have a pile of broken pieces around some meat and cheese. Any suggestions on what might help us here would be greatly appreciated. I just read your response again prior to sending and noticed that you are restricted from soy as well. The package of wraps I have contain soy. They are the toufayan gluten free original wraps. Perhaps you are using a different kind and that is why yours don’t fall apart. Please help. Thank you again.
Hello Janice,
It is the gluten that usually holds the wraps together, however, we have found that if you moisten the wraps a little and heat them up, they will conform to the shape of your pinwheels without ripping so easily. Separate wraps on a microwave-safe plate using slightly moist paper towels and heat on high for about thirty to forty-five seconds. Prepare your sandwiches with the warm wraps right away. You can reseal unused wraps or heat them up again if they get cool. Once they are folded or wrapped, if the wraps get cool again, they should remain in that shape without as much risk of falling apart.
Please let us know about your experience!
Thanks.
I purchased some of your GF Wraps this past summer, as we were traveling, and they are the best product I have found to date that my daughter can eat. She is also allergic to egg so I was surprised to see on this questions and answer section that you list eggs on the ingredient list. The package that I purchased did NOT have egg in it. I have since found an ingredient list online that shows NO EGGS on it. Did you change your recipe recently to include eggs? Here is the link:
wegmans.com
I am afraid to try to purchase these online now since I don’t know which products will have egg or not. Please consider offering these completely egg free as well, there are so many GF with egg and a large population that is allergic to both gluten and eggs.
Hello Kristi and thank you for your endorsement!
The currently available Gluten Free Wraps do contain both Soy and Egg. The listed ingredients on the Wegman’s site to not appear to be correct. For some time now the ingredients for our Gluten Free Wraps, Original Flavor, are as follows:
Ingredients: Tapioca Starch, Water, rice flour, soybean flour, shortening (canola oil, palm and palm kernal), food starch modified (corn starch, tapioca starch), potato starch, contains 2% or less of each of the follow: yeast, baking powder (calcium acid pyrophosphate, sodium, bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate, calcium sulfate), whole eggs, fumaric acid, mono and diglycerides with citric acid (a preservative), maltodextrin, dextrose, xanthan gum, egg whites, calcium propionate (to maintain freshness) salt.
Contains: Soy, Egg
Those are the ingredients listed on the package, please let us know if you find packages that do not match. You can contact a Toufayan representative at info@toufayan.com for more information. We will offer your suggestion of an egg and gluten free wrap to our bakers.
Thanks again!

They are excellent! I have two boys, 16 and 13 … they LOVED the Spinach wrap, better than the original. Who would’ve thought?!
Thank you for making life easier.
So glad for your product.
Hi, until recently I’ve been purchasing your gluten free wraps at Walmart, they don’t carry them any more. Your website listed Weis market, & Shoprite, I went to the closest one of both and neither one carry them. Can you give me an updated location where I can find them? They are the only thing I can make a sandwich with that I like. Thank You, Linda
Hello Linda and thank you for your endorsement!
While we do ship our Gluten Free wraps to Weis and Shoprite, the individual franchises tend to vary in their selection within each state. You can check your favorite grocer’s other locations, or you can request that your store manager add the Gluten Free Wraps to their inventory. For your convenience, here is a product request form you can print and bring to your store.
Gluten Free Product Request Form
I would love to try your gluten free wraps but I can’t have eggs. Do you offer something similar that are egg free?
Hello Laurie,
Unfortunately, we do not have an egg-free alternative gluten free wrap. We’ll mention the idea of a gluten-free, egg-free alternative to our bakers for you.
My Gluten-free wife, and I love making lunches with the Wrap-itz (by Tam-x-icos). The flavor is perfect, and it holds together well, whether in a Quesadilla or sandwich wap.
However, my last two batches of these, the layers were fused (I took a picture) and impossible to separate. That was disappointing. Is it the packing process? Transportation? How the store stacked them on the shelf? I want to avoid getting another fused stack of the Tortilla wraps. These are too good to quit on them now…
Hello Gordon, and thank you for your interest
We haven’t changed our recipe for Wrap-itz. We ship our wraps flash frozen, for maximum shelf life, ensuring a fresher product off the shelf. It is possible that the grocer thawed them too slowly, or stacked them too high while they thawed. This may cause an issue like what you are experiencing. I suggest mentioning this to your store’s manager, and returning any unsatisfactory products for a refund. Let us know if you continue to receive wraps with this issue. You can contact us on this website, or email us directly at info@toufayan.com.
Hello My family loves the Toufayan pita chips….can you please make the gluten free wraps that are all natural and made with non-GMO ingredients? I would love to purchase these but we eat only non-GMO and organic foods….

My 7 year old daughter loves them – she is 7 and GF.
Kelly
Kelly, If you have a Foodtown, Shoprite, Superfresh or Weiss nearby, you can purchase them there. Otherwise, you can ask your local grocer to add them to their inventory. In Maryland, our products are carried by IGA, Shop n’Save, Shoppers and Walmart. You can check our where to buy page to see stores in your area and what Toufayan products they carry.
Also, you can contact a Toufayan representative via our contact page or email us at info@toufayan.com to request Gluten Free Wraps by delivery.

I love your GF pita chips!!!! Thank you for using non GMO ingredients. Can you please tell me when you are planning on using non-GMO ingredients in your wraps? I would really love to eat them but we do all natural or organic and will not compromise on the GMO’s.
Thank you,
Debra
Hi Debra, we’re working hard on implementing non-GMO standards, without sacrificing flavor or texture. Check back with us soon to see what other products we can offer with non-GMO ingredients. (We can’t give an ETA yet, but we’re working in that direction!)
Hi,
Amazing GF wraps!! My wife has celiac and these are the only wraps we’ve found that don’t fall apart! Taste is also amazing! Well done!! Tell me, are there any plans to expand the GF product line? Maybe sandwich thins? Whatever you’re doing, please keep it up!!
Hello Tom and thank you kindly for your comments. We are indeed planning to expand the Gluten Free line, check on our Gluten Free tag to see the latest additions to our line of products.
I went to a restaurant this past weekend and had a gluten free breakfast sandwich with sausage egg whites and mozzarella. It was delicious!!! I asked them what they used for the wrap and they brought me your wrapper. I’ve never had a gluten free breakfast sandwich and the wrap was so tasty I had to let you know. I’m running out this week to buy some! Thanks for making such a great product!
Are your gluten-free wraps and gluten-free pita chips made in the same factory and on the sane equipment as your regular products? Worried about cross contamination (I have celiac) and can’t find any info on your packaging or website. Thanks!
Hello Rachel, we appreciate your concern. Our Gluten-Free products are not made on the same equipment that processes products with gluten.
These wraps are amazing. I recently discovered them but upon buying the last two packs today I discovered that the brand new wraps are in date but moldy all of them 🙁 please contact me as i really want the product and sad cant eat these ones 🙁
Hello Richard. Thank you for your endorsement. We’re very sorry to hear about your recent purchase. We suggest that you return the wraps to your grocer for a refund or replacement, but we would be happy to help if you are unable to return the wraps, or your grocer will not replace them. Please email us with your name, your store’s name and address and the date of purchase.

Hi. We love your wraps! The gluten free ones. Our local Wegmans stopped carrying them. Could you tell me where I can find them in the Baltimore, Maryland? Thanks, Bobbie Norris

Do these wraps contain any gmo ingredients ? We would love to continue purchasing if they are gmo free 🙂
Hello Megan. Our Flat Breads are non-gmo. You can check our non-gmo tag for any new products that that carry that certification. Our Gluten Free Wraps aren’t there yet, but we are working hard on bringing you more non-gmo products, check back soon!
Look forward to trying once the tortillas are Gluten-free, non-GMO. Ty!
Do the gluten free wraps need refrigeration once opened?
Hello Emelie, we don’t recommend that you refrigerate the wraps. However, personally I have found that there doesn’t seem to be a drawback to keeping them in the fridge (I usually put them in the deli drawer). Either in or out of the fridge, I prefer to transfer them to a one gallon resealable freezer bag from which, in my opinion, is easier to remove excess air. If they seem a little stiff or brittle, I recommend sprinkling a few drops of water on paper towels and placing the wraps between the slightly damp layers, then microwave for about 20 seconds to enhance pliability.
I see that your wraps are Gluten free but I cannot find an ingredients list. My Mom is allergic to wheat …but also has other allergies.
Hello Sue. Our Original Gluten Free wraps include tapioca starch, rice flour, soybean flour, vegetable oil, corn starch, potato starch, calcium, whole eggs and salt. Please see the packaging for other ingredients (2% or less).
Hi- I just love your gluten free wraps. Especially the spinach ones. I wanted to make a suggestion – please consider making these without artificial colors. Most people avoid artificial colors because they’re unhealthy.
But these are the best gf wraps out there! I hope you’ll consider my suggestion.
Thank you.
Hello Alexandra, and thank you for your suggestion! We would love to replace the artificial coloring with natural ingredients and we are working hard to accommodate your request! Please give us some time to work it out, meanwhile enjoy our wholesome, Gluten Free Wraps! Thank you.
My daughter has Coeliaki and we were searching for glutenfree wraps as she likes them very much. Last fall we visited frieds at Aruba and find your Glutenfree wraps and they are great!! As we live in the Netherlands, we took 2 packages home. But now they are all eaten and I was searching on internet how to get these wraps ordered by internet. But I think I can’t 🙁
Please let me know how I can get the wraps to the Netherlands!1
Hello Els and thank you so much for your interest in our wraps. You can contact a representative of Toufayan Bakeries using the form on our contact page, or call us at 1-800-EAT-PITA. We’d love to help you get some more Gluten Free Wraps. Thanks again!
We enjoy the gluten free wraps, but I noticed there is no sell date on the package. Can you advise the shelf life on this item? And can these be frozen?
Thank You
Thanks for your comment, Michele.
The sell by date of our Gluten Free Wraps is meant to be coded by your grocer. We recommend the reseller to code these wraps with a 30 day shelf life. Sometimes these wraps are frozen for shipping and once thawed the 30 day expiration begins.
It is acceptable to freeze these wraps to extend their shelf life, however once defrosted you should use them immediately and not refreeze. When freezing products, remember to use an airtight container with as much air removed as possible and try to reach the frozen state as quickly as possible. To speed the freezing process, refrigerate your wraps unpackaged spread out on a sheet pan until thoroughly chilled (about 2 hours). Place the sheet pan in the coldest part of your freezer for 2 more hours or until frozen. Remove the sheet pan and place your frozen wraps in an airtight container. Defrost within 3 months. For best results, defrost in the refrigerator overnight.
