My wife is diabetic, so she has to limit her carbohydrates. I cant find anywhere what the carb count is for this.

Toufayan Original Tandoori Flatbread has 34g of carbohydrates per serving (1/2 flatbread). Garlic Tandoori Flatbread has 31g. Is this the same as naan bread or is there a difference in tandoori flatbread and naan? Thanks!
Hi Josten, that’s a great question!
Aside from the shape, thickness and texture, there are subtle flavor differences between Tandoori Flatbread and Hearth Baked Naan.
Naan bread is made with Maida (flour), which gives it a slightly more dense texture, while the Tandoori Flatbread has a more savory flavor. Traditionally, Tandoori flatbread is served plain, while Naan is served with fillings or toppings. Many flatbread recipes can be substituted with either bread and we encourage you to try them both. Let us know which is your favorite and how you like to eat them.

I don’t know what is up with food companies as of late, but everyone is adding so many calories to the food items I’ve been consuming for years, and for no reason, because I can’t even taste or see a difference. I’ve always eaten these flatbreads which were originally 330 calories and now all of a sudden I’m checking the back and it’s 190 per half a serving… that’s 380 calories for one naan flatbread?! They sell naan bread that’s bigger in size from other companies and it’s like half the calories of that! I am no longer buying from this company. Oh, and I know pizza dough that’s 250 calories for the entire dough, and you could make multiple breads out of it. I’m extremely disappointed.

The calorie count has remained the same since the product was first made. If you have found an alternative flatbread with less calories, or if you’d rather have pizza dough, we hape you enjoy that one. We are a family-owned and operated company and we strive to do the best we can with our recipes, our customer service and our quality control. May I freeze this product?
All of our products can be frozen to extend freshness! Freeze them before the ‘use by’ date and they’ll keep for up to 6 months in the freezer. It’s best to freeze well-sealed products with little or no air in the packages. Prepare breads and other sensitive foods for freezing by letting them chill in the fridge for a few hours first. The faster food reaches its freezing point, the better they will retain their freshness. Defrost frozen bread products by returning them to the fridge overnight, or let them thaw on the countertop.
Just bought some of your flatbread at Publix. I have looked everywhere on the plastic packaging and nowhere does it explain how to cook/reheat it (oven temperature, how long to leave the flatbread in the oven). Am I missing something obvious?

Our Tandoori flatbreads are ready to eat, straight from the package. You can warm them up in an oven or toaster oven for 2-3 minutes at 350°. Tastes vary and you might decide to warm them a little longer or shorter depending on what you prefer.

Is this vegan. Ingredients look fine but you usually stick a v on it
We don’t source any of our ingredients from animals. However, some ingredients may originate from micro organisms, making it difficult to become certified vegan. Opinions vary as to whether this constitutes as vegan or not and the debate continues in many circles. We feel that micro organisms (like yeast) are intrinsic to baking and strive to select only wholesome, sustainable ingredients for our recipes. Feel free to ask any questions or comment further.
