Do these have to be frozen, or are they good in fridge until day of exp?
We don’t recommend storing any bread products in the fridge. However, if you do, make sure they are absolutely airtight with no moisture inside and not warm at all before placing them in there. Recommended storage is at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. You can freeze unopened packages of our brioche buns for up to 8 months. Defrost them by keeping them at room temperature for 2-3 hours. Once defrosted they should be good for the balance of their shelf life.
Hello! I miss your hot dog caddies. Absolutely best ever. I’m so sorry you no longer make those. They were a favorite treat and made any hotdog taste so delicious.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. I have read again your ingredient list and I’m perhaps missing something but I don’t see any butter or egg content…Am’I reading well?
Thanks in advance!
So sorry about that, you’re right of course. We try not to use butter and eggs in our recipes so our products stay fresher longer and adhere to more stringent dietary concerns such as Kosher diets and lactose intolerance. Our bakers duplicate the buttery flavor of traditional brioche using natural flavors and careful attention to the crumb (or texture) of the bake, so the consistency is just right. Instead of using eggs we use enriched flour to achieve the distinct color, taste and texture of brioche.
Thanks for your correction – I was so quick to say it was buttery, but that’s thanks to the long experience of the Toufayan family bakers, no eggs or butter in there at all!
Thanks again and please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
Thank you for your fast reply !
I have one more question now, what is the difference between “brioche” and “normal”bread ?
Thank!
Brioche is more highly enriched than other breads, with a higher egg and butter content. The texture is more tender and a little more dense making it more filling and heartier. The slightly more complex bread flavor goes well with simple but strong flavors like BBQ sauce (i.e. pulled pork on a brioche bun). The steakburger with bacon and swiss depicted on the package tasted fantastic. We also like it as a dinner roll with a hearty stew, chili or creamy soups.
Let us know how you enjoy them!
Hello,
